Microsoft have finally revealed a preview of the new Windows 11,  promising you a calm and creative space where you can pursue your passions through a fresh experience.

Microsoft have confirmed that from late 2021 into early 2022 the latest Windows Operating system, Window 11, will make its appearance on the scene and with it offer a ‘new Windows experience’ designed to maximise productivity, bring you closer to the people you love and content that can be personalised by you with a multitude of Widgets!

From rounded corners to the centrering of content and new animations, this new visual design extends across multiple areas of Windows 11. Here are some key highlights that you will see after installing this build:

Start & Taskbar

Everything you need on your PC at the centre


Widgets bring you closer to information you both want and need. Just click on the widgets icon on the Taskbar and your widgets slide out from the left over your desktop. You can personalize your experience by adding or removing widgets, re-arranging, resizing, and customizing the content. The set of widgets currently provided focus on your calendar, weather, local traffic, your Microsoft To Do lists, your photos from OneDrive, sports and your stock watchlist, and tips.

In addition to your Widgets, you can stay up to date with an integrated feed of personalized news with the latest content from over 4,500 global brands like, BBC etc. The news feed will adapt to show stories of interest to you, and you can tune it to see more of the content you care about.

One of the obvious questions many users will want to know is “what is the difference between Windows 10 and Windows 11”. Well Windows 11 has all the power and security of windows 10 but with a redesigned and refreshed look. Windows 11 will also offer new tools, sounds and apps with every detail seemingly covered.
